POLICIES & PRACTICES

Shipping

We are shipping our products now as we are starting to feel more comfortable with the shipping process. Although our preference is to not ship our products, as we fear the item(s) getting damaged in the process, we are taking extra precautions in our packing to better protect the product(s). We have had good results from shipping, but we had one that did not survive the process.

Additionally, shipping and packaging are also pretty expensive. If you are willing to absorb that cost, then we will do our best in getting the product to you at the most affordable cost that we can.

If you wish to ship an item, check with your shipper as to what they want you to do. We found it varies from shipper to shipper. (Some carriers are better/more careful than others.) We tried to collect from the insurance we bought for a package we sent that broke in shipping. They would not reimburse for the breakage as we did not pay them to pack it. That occurred with the UPS Store and they never mentioned up front that the insurance would not work if they didn’t pack it. FYI

Return/Refund Policy

We cannot be responsible for glass breakage once the item is sold/shipped. However, if something occurs where your feeder/item needs repair, please contact us and we will do what we can to repair your item at a low-cost option. We value our customers and will do what we can to keep everyone happy.

Refunds will be given for the purchase price only and excludes shipping costs. Refunds will only be given after the item has been returned within 30 days of purchase in the condition it was sent to the buyer in its original box. Buyer will pay all return shipping costs.

Disclaimer

We absorb the State sales tax in our price, which we pay later.

Prices at shows can vary from those shown on our web site depending on the cost of the show we are at, and some shows charge a commission per sale.

Prices do not include shipping/handling/and or packing costs.

Customers have asked if we could make a feeder, lantern or yard art using vintage glass from their collection or family’s heirlooms. Yes, that is possible for a nominal fee, but we always let the customer know that we cannot be responsible if the glass piece cracks/breaks/shatters from any drilling that needs to be done.
